HM-MRI provides quantitative estimates of tissue composition by exploiting the coupled T2 and ADC values associated with each tissue component.

Stroma, epithelium, and lumen percentage volumes were calculated by fitting the HM-MRI data to a three compartment signal model with distinct paired ADC and T2 values associated with each compartment.
